Hey Incendar.com, Incendar here! So it's cute, but is the hedgehog pet P2W and worth getting?
The hedgehog pet will increase items gathered when it procs, which can double gather results.
Make sure to get it to level 10 fast, as this also has an influence (set to aggressive then passive when level 10).
As the chart above will show you (multiple testers), highest tier is the only thing that matters.
4x T1 hedgehogs is the same as 1 T1, T1 and T2 are the same. 1x T4 hedgehog is the highest possible proc rate.
So is it P2W? Yeah.
A T1 hedgehog will increase your base item gathering by 30%.

About AUTO-Gather Hedgehogs (not in all regions yet, this is from JAPAN)
NORMAL Hedgehog and AUTO-GATHER Hedgehog did BENEFIT each other on non-NA server tests.
i.e. The auto gather Hedgehog could proc with a normal hedgehog, same percent and uses your gather level to determine if energy used,..etc
That means 1 t4 NORMAL with 4 T4 autos would be best situation. if money is no object.
Remember that each AUTO Hedgehog has a cool down time which become less with TIERS.
HOWEVER, there is only so much to AUTO gather (AFK horse training can work well here), or covering large distances active)
